Approval of production organizations for aircraft components and parts, approval of changes to production organizations

Process description

1. Service requests
   Application for an aircraft production organization approval certificate or for an amendment to an certificate accompanied by an operations manual / exposition

2. Conformity assessment
   The compliance of the documents submitted by the applicant and the operation manual with the requirements of regulatory enactments is assessed. After evaluating the documentation, an audit of the organization is performed to verify that the procedures are implemented. The applicant is informed in writing about the detected discrepancies.

3. Receipt of services
   After evaluating the documentation and performing the audit, depending on their results:
   - An approval certificate is issued to the organization if no non-compliances are found;
   - The organization is informed of the discrepancies found.
   After the non-compliance has been rectified, when the CAA is satisfied that the non-compliance has been corrected properly, an approval certificate shall be issued to the organisation.
