Continuing to develop the range of electronic services, from now on aviation safety exams will be conducted in special programme. Last Friday, it was completed by the first three employees of the RIX Riga airport at the State Agency "Civil Aviation Agency" (CAA).
From August 1, CAA began to perform a new function - the certification of all aviation security personnel of the legal subjects of the Republic of Latvia in accordance with the requirements of the European Commission Regulation. To ensure a convenient examination process, an e-platform for the certification of aviation security personnel has been developed.
The exam in the e-environment was created with the aim of providing a convenient and functional CAA e-service. CAA inspectors in the system can analyze statistics, collect data and improve the examination process based on them, thereby improving the civil aviation security system in general. As a result of the examination, the system automatically generates a unique certificate.
Aviation security personnel will have the certificate available on the CAA e-services portal, which can be presented or sent electronically to their employer at any time and place.
